How to set up Mac Mail

Open the Mac Mail application on your computer.

In the "Accounts" tab, click on the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window to add a new account.

Check the box for "Use Authentication"

Check the box for "Use SSL"
Check the box for "Allow insecure authentication"
Port: Set the port number to 465
Click "Next."
Mac Mail will again attempt to connect to the server using the provided information. If the connection is successful, you will see a green checkmark next to the "Outgoing Mail Server" field.
Finally, click "Create" to finish setting up the account.
Mac Mail will save the account settings and take you back to the main window.
Your IMAP account using the hostname mxserver.com.au should now be set up in Mac Mail with SSL enabled and insecure encryption selected for both incoming and outgoing servers. You should be able to send and receive emails using this account.
