How do I find my EPP Code

If you want to transfer a domain name from one registrar to another, you might need to provide a password for the domain (commonly known as an EPP code or AuthInfo).

The process of obtaining your domain's authorization code may vary depending on the registrar you are currently registered with and the type of domain you own.

  1. Log into the dashboard at https://clickhost.com.au/manage
  2. Click Manage Domains
  3. Click the domain or click Manage
  4. Click Domain Password in the domain sub menu
  5. You can click the eye to reveal your EPP Code.

.au domain name (such as com.au, net.au, org.au, id.au,asn.au or .au)

  4. Click on the Email button to have the current domain name password emailed to the Registrant email address. If the email address is not correct you can contact the Registrar of Record to request assistance.

gTLD or newTLD domain name (com, net, biz, photography, email, xyz)

To recover the domain name password for your gTLD or newTLD domain name you will need to contact the Registrar of Record for that domain name. To find the Registrar of Record you can complete a WHOIS search for the domain name on a variety of different WHOIS lookup websites.

  1. Go to http://whois.domaintools.com/.
  2. Type the domain name and complete the search.
  3. The results in the WHOIS lookup will return the Registrar of Record for the name. You will need to make contact with the Registrar of Record who will be able to assist you in recovering your domain name password.
